Friday Five – Zelda Games
Welcome to the Friday Five! Each week I help you get to know me a bit better with the assistance of a top five list! This week’s category: Favorite Legend of Zelda Games!
In honor of yesterday’s release of HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, I do my most half assed list ever, and pick my Favorite Zelda games.
Just one problem. I’ve never played any Zelda games. I never liked them as a kid. In fact, I was the kid who tuned out from the Super Mario Brother Super Show on Fridays so I didn’t have to watch the Zelda cartoons. So this one’s a bit of a train wreck.
- Zelda:The Wand of Gamelon, Link: The Faces of Evil, & Zelda’s Adventure (CD-i) – Some of the most horrible games ever produced, if you can even call them games. Much like WWE and Chris Benoit’s Royal Rumble and World Heavyweight Championship wins, Nintendo now disavows all knowledge that these ever happened.
- Legend of Zelda, Link to the Past (NES/SNES) – I just like them because they had the shiny cartridges.
 JohnScott is the proud owner of a life size replica Captain Kirk Chair. He is a hoarder of Comic Books, Transformers, and Star Trek action figures. He attended Space Camp as an adult. He has taken vacations to the closing of the Star Trek Experience and the final night Shuttle launch. He has been known to yell at his television when the kids can't put together the damn statue in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. When not writing for InsufficientScotty, he is a Software Engineer for a major healthcare communications company.
