Glory #23 sold out already!
Well, looks like I’m not the only one interested in this whole Extreme Studios universe reboot, and the return of the 90’s to comics in general. While it won’t hit store shelves for another week, Glory #23, the first issue of the reboot (which picks up right where the series left off in 1997) has sold out at the distributor level. But don’t worry, Image has already confirmed that they will be going back for a second print run, which will be coming out with a new cover by Ross Campbell on the same day as issue #24 does, which is on March 14.

Original style art on left, new style on right. Pretty different if you ask me. |
I have about two thirds of the original run, and after reading the preview piece a few weeks ago in Comic Shop News, was intrigued by what writer Joe Keatinge had planed for the book. However, artist Ross Campbell’s style is a vast departure from how the book was previously, and is a bit of a turn off for me. But, if it sold out, it must be good right? Are you one of the people planing on picking this book up? If so, let me know in the comments.
