The Console Wars are in full swing. To celebrate, I’m taking this time to go back and pick the best games of all the previous generations that I think You (Probably) Should Have Played, one letter at a time.

(Star Wars:) X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (PC – 1997)
Quite possibly the best space combat game ever. You get to fly either a X-Wing or a TIE fighter. Again I say, YOU GET TO FLY A X-WING! How cool is that? You could also team with 7 other friends to form an entire squadron and go wreck shit up. In 1997, in DOS. It was ahead of it’s time in awesomeness.
