Ringtones

Welcome to the Friday Five! Each week I help you get to know me little better with the help of a top 5 list! This week

Cell phones are ubiquitous these days. Everyone has one, and just about everyone thinks they have to best ringtone ever. I’m here to tell you, no, no you don’t. Pretty much every ring tone is annoying. It’s that way by design so you pick up the phone as soon as possible. Some are just worse than others.

  1. Any default ring/message tone. We get it, everyone has an iPhone. Please, change your ringtone so that when you get messaged, everyone in the room doesn’t have to check to see if it was them. Same goes for you everyone else in the room. If everyone did it, it wouldn’t be a issue.
  2.

  3. That guy, every office has one, who has his phone volume all the way up, yet is never by his desk, so it rings and rings and rings some annoying ass song (it’s usually the default ring) that can be heard all over the entire floor of the building.
  4.

  5. People who have a song clip for their ringtone, but never wanna answer because “It’s just getting to the good part of the song!”
  6.

  7. Retro Phone ring. Wow, you are such a hipster. Louie CK can say it way better than I can.
  8.

  9. This is my actual current ringtone. When it rings in meetings at work, I get strange looks from managers. People my age get it and laugh.

Do you wanna pick me up

Do you. . . Do you wanna . . . Do you wanna pick me up?
