Friday Five – Stoner Movies/Characters
Welcome to the Friday Five! Each week I help you get to know me a little better with the help of a Top 5 list. This weeks topic: Stoner Movies/Characters.
Colorado and Washington just legalized recreational marijuana, so I decided to run down my favorite stoner movies and characters, even though marijuana has never really done anything for me personally.

- Dude, Where’s My Car – “No and then!”
- Spicolli – Fast Times at Ridgemont High – Remember when Sean Penn was relevant?
- Otto – The Simpsons – He probably should not be in charge of a entire school bus full of children
- Jay and Silent Bob – For the Clerks animated series, ABC had no idea what they were getting into, and were unaware Jay and Silent Bob were drug dealers. To get around the censors, they changed it from “drugs” to “fireworks”, which are still illegal in New Jersey regardless.
 JohnScott is the proud owner of a life size replica Captain Kirk Chair. He is a hoarder of Comic Books, Transformers, and Star Trek action figures. He attended Space Camp as an adult. He has taken vacations to the closing of the Star Trek Experience and the final night Shuttle launch. He has been known to yell at his television when the kids can't put together the damn statue in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. When not writing for InsufficientScotty, he is a Software Engineer for a major healthcare communications company.
