IDW Publishing & Humble Bundle team for Star Trek Comic Bundle

Unfortunately, I already own almost all the comics in the bundle in physical copies. But if you don’t, I highly recommend picking it up if only for the two movie prequel stories, Countdown and Countdown To Darkness, which flesh out the backstory to the films. I may pick this up anyway, because The Hero Initiative is an awesome cause, and 66 comics at name your own prices is always a deal, doubly so if they are all Star Trek.

IDW Publishing and pay-what-you-want plus charity digital distributors Humble Bundle are teaming up once again to bring more than $270 worth of digital comic books from the Star Trek franchise to fans. Star Trek fans can pay what they want while choosing to support the comic creators and select charities in the new Star Trek Humble Bundle.

The digital comics available for pay-what-you-want are Star Trek Classics Vol. 1, Star Trek Classics Vol. 2, Star Trek: Best of Klingons and Star Trek: Gold Key Archives Vol. 1. Those who pay more than the average price will also receive Star Trek: The Next Generation – Hive, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Burden of Knowledge and Star Trek: Mirror Images. Customers who pay $15 or more will receive all of the above, plus Star Trek: Countdown, Star Trek: Movie Adaptation, Star Trek: Nero, Star Trek: Spock Reflections, Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness and Star Trek Vol. 1, bringing the bundle to a galactic total of 66 digital comic book issues from the Star Trek franchise.

The Humble Star Trek Bundle supports The Hero Initiative, a non-profit organization that provides a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life and an avenue back into paying work.
