To Friday Five

2014

Welcome to the Friday Five! Each week I help you get to know me a bit better with the help of a top 5 list! This week I take a look at the most anticipated things coming in 2014!

As one year comes to a close, so springs forth another. And there looks to be a lot of cool stuff on the horizon coming out next year to look forward to. I run down some of the what I’m looking forward to seeing come to fruition next year after the jump.

  1. Community – It seems like its been forever, but new episodes start up again on January 2. With Dan Harmon back at the helm, these episodes look like they are going to be totally awesomesauce.
  2.

  3. New Doctor Who – The Christmas episode was great, and I really look forward to Peter Capaldi. Why does it have to not be until September though!
  4.

  5. Tahiti – Looks like we’re finally gonna find out Coulson’s secret. The good bet is he’s a Life Model Decoy. We’ll just have to wait and see. Or magic, it could always be magic.
  6.

  7. How I Met Your Mother – I haven’t been watching this season yet, it’s all still on my DVR. I plan on binge watching it all at once probably soon. But I imagine Carter & Bays have something magnificent planned for the final episode after 9 years.
  8.

  9. Movies – I’ll cop out here. There are too many good movies coming out next year: X-Men, Spider Man, Captain America, Godzilla, Robocop, Sin City, Planet of the Apes, Guardians of the Galaxy, Lego, Muppets, etc. If I had to pick one though, it would be Island of Lemurs: Madagascar. No, that’s not a animated sequel. It’s an IMAX documentary about lemurs. I fucking LOVE lemurs. And it’s narrated by Morgan Freeman to boot.
