Panini 2022 WWE Chronicles Case Break (20 Blaster Boxes)

I missed last week because of the holiday, so here is an extra long video of me opening an entire damn case of Panini America WWE Chronicle cards because they we were on sale.

I got 17x the amount of cards in an entire case than I could get in just a singular Hobby Box, for about the same price at the time. That’s just pure economy of scale I can’t pass up. Still didn’t complete the base set though.

Panini 2023 WWE Select 2 Hobby Boxes Break

This week is a twofer, with not one but two WWE Select Hobby Boxes, but one is an asian exclusive that I can’t really see a difference between them, except it was half the price. Whatever, I’ll take it.

While I got a Stone Cold Steve Austin in one of those higher tier boxes once, I think this is my best Attitude Era hit yet. Even so, too many duplicates between these boxes for my tastes.

Upper Deck 2022 AEW Metal Universe Hobby Box Break

We move on from weird music card sets these week, back to wrestling themed, but still somewhat 90’s related, as Upper Deck pulled out the Skybox label on this box of All Elite Wrestling cards that shouldn’t be allowed to call itself a hobby box if it didn’t contain a hit.

Is it a good idea to name your card set “Universe” when that term is pretty heavily used by your competition? Probably not, but that didn’t stop them.

Episode – “The Soulmate Game” – All Gem + Lesbian Choices

Back by popular demand, and the fact that I don’t have cable and my favorite OTA channel just changed formats to a clone of UPN circa 2005, it’s more Episode stories!

As in my schtick with these, I play as a lesbian, while always picking the premium gem choices when they come up. This time it’s “The Soulmate Game”, a clone of The Bachelor, but with a team of scientists picking matches, and if the contestants pick the same person as the scientists, they win a million dollars. But can true love be determined by an algorithm? If you have 5 hours to spare, sit down and find out.
