Last night Zenescope threw a launch party to show off the results of their successful Kickstarter campaign, and debut the nearly finished Grimm Fairy Tales Animated pilot. I made the trek up to Times Scare in the heart of Times Square to see it. How was it? Read on and find out!

This past weekend I ventured out to my first west coast convention, Stan Lee’s ComiKaze in Los Angeles. I saw a lot of awesome cosplay, and have full video of the Adult Swim “Metal Aqua Coast To Coast” Panel.

I hit up Too Many Games last night, and managed to sneak my way into the secret shows of both BrentalFloss and The Minibosses. And I recorded video of both of their sets. Come see them both after the jump.

Another year of WizardWorld has come and gone, and while I’m exhausted and a fair deal poorer than when it all started, I managed to survive. So what all happened? Read onwards and we’ll tell you! If you’re looking for the Captains Panel coverage, move straight to page 2.

So while the first meeting of all five captains was planned to be at Destination Star Trek London come this fall, it turns out it’s actually going to happen in less than two weeks at Wizard World Philly. This isn’t even happening at the big annual Las Vegas Creation Official Star Trek Convention. Scott Bakula (Enterprise), William Shatner (Original Series), Avery Brooks (Deep Space Nine), and Kate Mulgrew (Voyager) were already scheduled to appear. However Patrick Stewart (Next Generation) was supposedly busy with the London Olympics. But apparently his scheduled has cleared up, and he’ll be able to fly in for a Saturday appearance.

I’ll be there front and center to keep you appraised of this historic event, so stay tuned for more!

Sunday was the last day of the show, with appearances by Levar Burton, Chase Masterson, Brent Spiner, and Jonathan Frakes.

Saturday was the big day this year, featuring Gary Graham, Morgan Gendel, Tim Russ, concerts from Gary Graham and Tim Russ, and the one and only Sir Patrick Stewart.

Friday was a very light day, with appearances from Suzie Plakson, Hallie Todd, Eric Menyuk, Robin Curtis, and the Gold Members party.
