Topps 2021 WWE Hobby Box Break

I’m revisiting one of my very first unboxings, before I knew about the different box sizes, this time as a full Hobby Box. I strike out on the relic, but the Autograph came back around after 11 years. What am I supposed to do with not just one, but two whole mat relics of Bobby Lashley from Payback 2020?

Panini 2022 WWE Prizm Hobby Box Break

After countless Blaster and Hanger packs, I finally broke down and got a whole ass Hobby Box of these Panini America WWE Prizm cards, and it’s well worth it. Ok, maybe not personally, as I got a signature for a third time, but he’s been champ for over 1000 days, he gets a pass. Maybe it’s just me, but when the main draw of these is to get autographs, can we please make sure the Superstar’s autographs look at least somewhat like their name, not a bunch of random scribbles. I’m looking at you Swiss Superman!

Topps 2018 WWE Heritage Hobby Box Break

Some eBay store’s fuckup is my gain, as I got this Hobby Box for far under market value, so I’m not gonna complain. Still haven’t finished the set though, so that’s a bummer. Ok, so maybe I’ll complain a little bit. Because somehow a full Hobby Box and 2 Blaster Boxes is only enough for about 80% of a full set. But I did get a Monster of a parallel autograph, for what that’s worth, which is about three fiddy.

Panini 2022 WWE Chronicles Hobby Box Break

Is this a good rip or not? I honestly have no god damn idea since there are so many variables in this set it’s mind boggling. It’s like one big bucket that contains 35 (or 217 with all the parallels) different subsets worth of cards. Just release each set seperately. There are literally 4678 different cards in this set. Ain’t nobody got time for that, especially at this price point.

Topps 2019 WWE Raw Hanger Box Break

Sometimes it’s the small boxes that are the most fun. This is short and sweet since it’s just a hanger box of WWE Raw cards, but for some reason it has no action shots. It’s almost exclusively people’s profile renders. No relics here, but the makeup of the set itself is just baffling and bizarre.

Topps 2017 WWE Road to WrestleMania (33) Hanger Box Break

I keep opening boxes of WWE Road to WrestleMania, because I can’t stop until I catch them all. Wait, no, that doesn’t seem right. . .

This is just a hanger box, so not alot to talk about here. But it does check the box for this particular year since it’s all I can find.

Topps Finest 2020 WWE Hobby Box Break

While this set is certainly of improved cardstock quality and very shiny, I certainly wouldn’t call it Topps Finest when some asshole graphic designer put dark text over a dark background so the fronts are almost impossible to read.

Is it bad if I’m now to the point that I’m getting duplicates on signatures and inserts? That seems like maybe I have too much stuff. But yet, still not a single kiss card.

Topps 2018 WWE Road to WrestleMania 34 Hanger Box Break

Because I am a completionist, I must open something from every Road to WrestleMania set I can get my hands on. This time it’s a hanger box for WrestleMania 34.

Not a ton of cards here, or any inserts, but it’s fun to remember when the cruiserweight title and 205 Live were things people actually cared about.
