To Games You (Probably) Should Have Played

The Console Wars are in full swing. To celebrate, I’m taking this time to go back and pick the best games of all the previous generations that I think You (Probably) Should Have Played, one letter at a time.

Check out all the other entries in the Games You (Probably) Should Have Played series if you haven’t already.

Legend of Mana (PS1 – 2000)
I didn’t play this much, but I used to hang out and watch a bunch of friends play it. This was a Square RPG, but the cool thing about it was wasn’t linear. Not like in the FFVII way where you could play the side quests in any order, like literally non linear. As a player, you got to organize the lands of the playing world however you liked, and different arrangements lead to different bonuses and available quests. The other major thing that set the game apart was all the graphics were all hand drawn and looked beautiful.
