Far Cry 4

The sequel to the 2012 hit (and one of my personal favorite games of that year), Far Cry 3, has finally been announced – and it seems like the developers at Ubisoft are mixing things up even more this time around. For the first time in the series, Far Cry 4 will be moving away from the usual scenery of tropical islands and jungles, and instead taking place in an “untamed” mountainous region called Kyrat, with all kinds of weapons, wildlife and other dangers scattered throughout. So far, little is known about the story, except for that this region is being ruled by a self-appointed king, who I can only assume will be the main protagonist of the game, and is likely the character portrayed in the cover art.

Far Cry 4 is set to launch November 18 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Preorder bonuses include 3 new missions and a rather large harpoon gun, and Ubisoft has confirmed that we will see our first real look at the game during this coming E3 expo in June. has been into gaming and just about everything nerdy or out of the norm for as long as he can remember. He likes to keep an open mind about things, but also has a strangely high amount of fun getting into a rant or good debate. . . which is probably why he was recruited to this site in the first place.
