Cartoon Redheads

Welcome to the Saturday Six, where each week I let you get to know me a bit better with the help of a list. Any idiot can do a Top 5 list, which is why I kicked it up a notch to a Top 6. This week’s topic: Cartoon Redheads

OK, so last week, I kinda messed up. It’s been pointed to to me that not only is Christina Hendricks not a real redhead, neither is Alyssa Campanella or Emma Stone. 3/6 is not good. So this week I plan to rectify that with a list I can’t possibly screw up, assuming I am not colorblind, and I don’t believe that I am. So this week, it’s limited to cartoon redheads.

  1. Jessica Rabbit – Who Framed Roger Rabbit – Come on, you know you’d be all over her if you were a cartoon. Or even if you weren’t. But it’s not her fault. She’s just drawn that way. She is also the basis for a number of epic cosplays.
  2.

  3. Ariel – The Little Mermaid – It’s the sea shell bra that does it for me. Also, her character design is based on Who’s The Boss era Alyssa Milano.
  4.

  5. Josie – Josie and the Pussycats – The original catgirl. Cat ears and a leopard print spandex one piece? Count me in. I am also one of the few people who enjoyed the movie starring Rachael Leigh Cook, Tara Reid, and Rosario Dawson.
  6.

  7. Blossom – The Powerpuff Girls – She’s the commander and the leader. While she’s not as cute a Bubbles or as funny as Buttercup, you still have to love her. And she kicks serious ass. You know, for a elementary schooler.
  8.

  9. Daphne Blake – Scooby Doo – Ok, she never really did anything to help the gang of Mystery Inc., other then fall down wells and get kidnapped, leaving all the dirty work to Shaggy and Scooby, but she was still a hip, hip chick.
  10.

  11. Misty – Pokemon – I’ll admit it, I’m an Ash/Misty ‘shipper. I was so bummed they never got together, especially after they got so close in Pokemon 2000. She wasn’t just hanging around all this time waiting for him to pay her back for the bike he broke.
