CZW’s Dojo Wars 11 Results

Well, since I don’t have anything to do on Wednesday nights, and the CZW Academy is only 20 minutes from my house, every other week I’ll be attending Dojo Wars, their bi-weekly “House Show”. It’s 5 matches for 5 bucks, how can you go wrong with that? Since the only way to see the show is to be there, and only a very limited number of people can fit in the place, I’ll let you in on all the details with a full results list, pictures and match breakdown.

Last night was Round Two of the 10 week, 16 person Tournament of Valor, with each match being scheduled for 2 falls. This was the most sparsely attended Dojo Wars yet, with tonight being the Flyer’s home opener, but it was the most fun by far. Maybe it’s because I just went to the Smackdown 15th anniversary show on Tuesday. Maybe it’s because I just bought Royal Rumble tickets. Maybe it’s because friend of the site Murder Nurse showed up with Brittany Blake’s 63 year old dad who just yelled the craziest most insane shit I’ve ever heard all night long. It’s mostly that last one. We were down a few regulars who normally yell off the wall stuff, and he more than filled the gap. Also, I may have inadvertently gotten Andrew Wolf nearly killed when I tried cover my share of the crazy crowd interactions. It was pretty fun overall, and as always, I recommend attending if you are able or waiting till they hit youtube. I’m gonna keep last week’s format of more pictures, less talk, so let’s get to it.

Ryan Galeone vs Andrew Wolf

As I said up top, it may have been my fault this turned into such a squash. Wolf was putting up a pretty valiant fight, when Galeon started beating him down, then shouted out “I’m a warrior!”. I then responded with “But he’s a legend! (as in Legend Of Zelda). Galeon stopped, turned, looked me dead in the eyes for like 6 seconds, went “He’s a legend huh?”, and then executed one of the most vicious powerbombs I’ve ever seen. So, Mr. Wolf, if you’re out there, sorry about that. I was just trying to be funny, not get your ass kicked. I totally thought you were gonna win.
