Skybox 1996 Star Trek: The Next Generation – Season 4 Unboxing
Star Trek, Unboxing on August 14, 2023 at 3:57 pm by JohnScottIt’s getting harder and harder to find new Star Trek boxes I don’t have, but I managed to find another old ass box to open. This time it’s a box of 1996 Season Six Star Trek: The Next Generation from Skybox. No autographs, but there was a possibility for a hologram. Skybox did end up making 7 separate sets, one for each season of TNG, and this is the first of two that I have, and I can pick up another two of Facebook Marketplace pretty cheap.

Panini 2023 WWE Prizm Hobby Box Break
Unboxing, Wrestling on August 7, 2023 at 3:51 pm by JohnScottHere I bought a new hobby box of the Panini WWE Prizm cards, which are nearly identical to last years, minus some extra color flair. On the plus side, my autograph is a bonafide government employee.

Topps 2015 WWE Heritage Blaster Box Break
Unboxing, Wrestling on July 24, 2023 at 3:45 pm by JohnScottWhat can I say, I love wrestling cards that look like old baseball cards.
It was nice to get a relic that wasn’t a nondescript piece of canvas for a change, but I don’t think I could have gotten a worse one. No offence, but the Prime Time Players were terrible.
There was a reason they spent all that time on NXT: Redemption and why Titus never wrestlers, besides that one time he almost died slipping in Saudi, and is used mostly for outreach.

Rittenhouse 2000 Women of Star Trek In Motion Box Break
Star Trek, Unboxing on July 17, 2023 at 2:50 pm by JohnScottI know the quality sucks, but that’s just what happens when you try to photograph 20 year old lenticular cards of dubious quality. But, it had a sound in motion card. . . that had a dead battery. Well, I tried at least.
However, I am always down for any autograph for anyone named Andrea, for . . . reasons. . .

Topps 2015 WWE Road to WrestleMania (31) Blaster Box Break
Unboxing, Wrestling on July 10, 2023 at 3:40 pm by JohnScottWhile WrestleMania 31 sounded like it should have been a banger on paper, what with Daniel Bryan winning the IC Ladder Match, HHH vs Sting (in pretty much his only WWE match), John Cena vs. Rusev in a tank, no one remembers any of that because the winner of the main event wasn’t even in the damn match.
I particularly loved how since this WrestleMania was so forgettable mostly, they did absolutely no changes to the card design between this year and the prior year, they are identical, minus some different subsets.

Upper Deck 2022 AEW All Elite Wrestling Hobby Box Break
Unboxing, Wrestling on June 26, 2023 at 4:19 pm by JohnScottMan, Forbidden Door sure was a banger last night, am I right? Bryan Danielson broke his arm in the first ten minutes, and kept going like the fucking beast he is, and came up with that modified submission on the fly.
Anywho, check out this Hobby Box of Upper Deck All Elite Wrestling cards from last year I managed to get on the cheap, for a reason apparently.

Rittenhouse Star Trek Discovery Season 3 Card Unboxing
Star Trek, Unboxing on June 19, 2023 at 4:17 pm by JohnScottWell look at this, I finally found another Star Trek card box to open. Unfortunately it’s for Star Trek: Discovery, and the inserts were decidedly mid.
I get that they need to pad the pool (see what I did there) of people they have sign autographs in these things, but they have far too many background actors who show up for like 5 frames.
Fortunately this time I do a little better, but only just.

Panini 2022 WWE Immaculate Hobby Box Break
Unboxing, Wrestling on June 12, 2023 at 3:03 pm by JohnScottI still don’t understand the appeal of these higher end Panini America sets, but because I have OCD and need a box from every set they make, here’s six cards I spent about $400 on. It was not worth it in the least.
You’d think for $400 they would ensure all the autographs are on card, but they aren’t. But one had little hearts on it, and the other I will enjoy with a nice cold Steveweiser. But still not even remotely worth $400.
