Star Trek: The Customizable Card Game – Q-Continuum Booster Unboxing

This is the box that made me go and edit Memory Alpha, because none of my research online indicated that there was anything but the standard three rarities of Common, Uncommon, and Rare. But according to the rules supplement in the box, both the Q-Flash and Mortal Q are 4/3 as frequent as other cards in their tier. I however can’t tell if that means they are more rare or less rare than a standard card, since the language is ambiguous. I did get more than 1 Mortal Q, so maybe less rare? If only it was 30 years ago and I could write them an email. But at least now it’s notated.

I begin at least a solid month and a half of Star Trek CCG unboxings with this box of The Borg.

For the first time, I manage to pull the mega rare while people are actually watching. Is it any good? Not really.

Also, yes, I got a haircut. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?

Rittenhouse 2021 Women of Star Trek Art and Images Trading Card Unboxing

We’re nearing the end of Women’s History Month, so it’s a good time to celebrate all the strong female characters in the Star Trek franchise by opening this box of Rittenhouse 2021 Women of Star Trek Cards.

This set is kinda boring, since there are no words at all on these cards, just the same picture on the front and back. But, this box did guarantee the greatest number of autographs per box so far, with 3. Were they good? No. A nameless TOS Background extra who showed up in 5 episodes in the first season, and two people with just one episode appearances in TNG Season 1. All in all not great, but pretty comparable to what I could have got at the Vegas Con, without having to leave my house.

To celebrate the launch of Season 2 of Star Trek Picard, I open up this box of Rittenhouse Season 1 cards. Whose autograph do I get? It’s an android. Is it a good one? No.

I finally get a decent autograph. Not two decent autographs, but 1/2 ain’t bad when I open this box of Rittenhouse Star Trek Discovery Season 1 Cards. I probably should have rewatched Season 1 before this. Sorry.

Star Trek: The Customizable Card Game – Alternate Universe Booster Unboxing

I bought a sealed box of 36 Star Trek: The Customizable Card Game Booster 15 card packs made by Decipher in 1995, for reasons. Watch me open all of them trying to complete my set 27 years later. Will I? No, I do not. Will I find the Ultra Rare Future U.S.S. Enterprise? Also no. But at least I only paid $1.25 a pack now, unlike in my youth when I regularly paid over $3.

90's Non Sports Cards

This past Saturday was the “It’s a Toy Show” at Farpoint Toys. Me and The Hunters drove half way to the shore on Memorial Day weekend like a bunch of lunatics to buy old toys. Here is how I decided to spend $55 by buying sealed boxes of ancient non sports cards no one else in their right mind would ever actually want.
