Villains of new Star Trek Co-op Game announced

Finally some E3 news for the non hardcore gamers. Namco Bandai revealed today at E3 that the villains in the new Star Trek co-op game, which is set in the universe of the new JJ Abrams films, and takes place between the 2009 film and its upcoming sequel will be . . . the Gorn!

The game is scheduled for a Q1 2013 release, and will feature the voice talents of both Zach Quinto and Chris Pine as they reprise their roles of as the player characters of Spock and Kirk respectively. It’s being described as a co-op shooter, so kinda like Time Crisis I suppose, but in space, with phasers. Namco Bandai released a new website for the game today, with more pictures and details. No gameplay demos yet, but you can view a older trailer below.
