So this past weekend was the “big” Star Trek convention in lovely Cherry Hill, NJ, celebrating 20 years of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Because it’s only 3 miles from my house (and I prepaid for it at last year’s show), I headed on over to meet most of the cast of DS9 and take some expensive pictures.
I bet when you hear the word “doctor”, you immediately think of a physician. There are many different types of doctors throughout all media who were awesome characters, and only some of them have a degree.

Friday Five – Things to blow money on
Let’s say your rich Uncle Pennybags is killed in some shady dealing gone wrong (as is wont to happen in Atlantic City), and you’re left with a fortune. What would you do with it? Personally, I’d waste it on stupid crap, and tons of hookers and blow. While maybe I can’t go out to the store and pick up some of my choices, I’d do my damndest to make them realities.

Tuesday Preview: Image Comics’ Witchblade – Day of the Outlaw
I missed out last week, getting myself sick at WrestleMania from the germs of 80000 people from all over the world, but I’m back with a vengeance this week. I’m big fans of genre swaps, so for this week’s Tuesday Preview I present the Witchblade: Day of The Outlaw one-shot from Image Comics. Sara Pezzini isn’t the first person to wield the Witchblade, there have been dozens of them throughout history. This one-shot focuses on Enola, a sheriff in the Old West. Sounds like a fun romp.
SHOWDOWN WITH THE WITCHBLADE OF THE WILD WEST!
In the days of the Wild West, before Sara Pezzini claimed her destiny, Witchblade bearer Sheriff Enola protected the high plains from the Darkness that lurked beyond the horizon. Although her townspeople lived in peace, they were always mistrusting of their sheriff-witch. With her town seeking to banish her and the Darkness angling for a duel, will the Witchblade be enough to save Enola from becoming a footnote in the annals of the blade’s history?

With Jurassic Park being re-released in 3D this weekend, I’m examining my favorite real life dinosaurs.
Like most kids, I went through a huge dinosaur phase. Mine might have been a bit larger than most since I lived less than 2 miles from the Haddonfield marl pit, which is the discovery location of the Hadrosaurus Foulkii, the first nearly complete dinosaur fossil ever found. My 4th grade class was instrumental in getting it named the state dinosaur of New Jersey. I used to go to saturday classes over at the Natural History Museum, but was asked to stop attending, because I knew more than the teachers and made sure they knew it. And in a real douchey way, like “Thats not a Brontosaurus, it’s an Apatosaurus, get it right!”. This was when I was like 6, so I’ve always been an asshole. My knowledge isn’t as vast as it used to be, but I like all the highly specialized dinosaurs with like one unique feature that sets them apart. Also, I think T-Rex is pretty much implied.
This one’s gonna be light on content, heavy on the pictures for two reasons. 1) To get it done before I leave for the show of shows, and 2) The Hall of Fame is the type of thing you can’t really convey beyond just generalities, you have to be there to experience it. Like how batshit insane Bob Backlund ended up being, or how much they booed Maria Menounos until it looked like she was ready to cry, that’s all not gonna make it on TV. So sit back and take a look at the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013, and maybe you’ll even see a Spinarooni or two.

WWE Axxess Friday 4/5/2013 coverage
So, I have a lot of disposable income, and a lot of time off banked at work, therefore I have the ability to do a lot of stuff pretty much whenever I want. When I heard WrestleMania was going to take place pretty much right in my backyard, I figured I may as well go, even though I’m at best a casual fan. I watch all the shows every week, but usually just for background noise and only pay attention for the good matches. I grabbed my camera and took a trip up the turnpike to WrestleMania Axxess, WWE’s fan convention, to pretty much wait in line all day. See the pics and details after the jump.
OK, so maybe I’m not so good at pranks. Maybe my aren’t all really “pranks”, they are pretty much hate crimes that will get you arrested. Let’s just say that I may have done all of these, as the statutes of limitation may not be done with yet. You probably don’t want to mess with me and make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.

Tuesday Preview: Image Comics’ Mice Templar IV: Legend #1
I’m a pretty big fan of Michael Avon Oeming’s artwork. So for this week’s Tuesday Preview, I bring you the first issue of the new Volume IV of Mice Templar: Legend.
Long ago, the valiant Templar destroyed themselves through a vicious civil war, allowing the bloodthirsty crusade of the tyrant king Icarus to destroy mouse culture. Yet the inspiring tale of the young mouse Karic promises to restore the fractured Templar and overthrow the mad king. But while some accept Karic as a prophecy for good, still others see his rising legend as an omen of evil.
Thus begins the climactic chapter in the epic saga of hope and despair, of tragedy and triumph, and where every secret will at last be revealed.
