Not every super power is useful. I mean, I think we can all agree that money is the best superpower (see: Batman and Iron Man). But for every radioactive spider bite that gives you super strength and the ability to climb walls, there’s an mutant who can change their hair color at will, which is not great for winning fights with Magneto.

Don’t forget, tomorrow is the 11th annual Free Comic Book Day. There are all kinds of cool books availible at your Local Comic Book Shop, including books about Superman, Thanos, The Walking Dead, Aphrodite IX, Damsels, Aspen, all kinds of choices gear toward the kiddies like Sonic, Spongebob, and Bongo, and my favorite, a Steampunk version Wizard of Oz. Let’s not dilly dally, let’s jump right back into my coverage of last weekend’s Official Star Trek Convention. Saturday featured all the big name guests, including Nana Visitor, Michael Dorn, Avery Brooks, Cirroc Lofton, and the costume contest.

So this past weekend was the “big” Star Trek convention in lovely Cherry Hill, NJ, celebrating 20 years of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Because it’s only 3 miles from my house (and I prepaid for it at last year’s show), I headed on over to meet most of the cast of DS9 and take some expensive pictures.

I bet when you hear the word “doctor”, you immediately think of a physician. There are many different types of doctors throughout all media who were awesome characters, and only some of them have a degree.

VWho doesn’t love Pokémon? Who doesn’t love legendary Pokémon? Who doesn’t love free legendary Pokémon. Who doesn’t love free level 100 legendary Pokémon? No one, that’s who!

Starting May 8th through May 31st, Nintendo is giving away a free legendary Deoxys via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. You can get him for any of your Gen V games of Pokémon Black 2, Pokémon White 2, Pokémon Black, or Pokémon White. I’ll be sure to remind you in about this in two weeks, including more details on how to actually claim him for your team.

Let’s say your rich Uncle Pennybags is killed in some shady dealing gone wrong (as is wont to happen in Atlantic City), and you’re left with a fortune. What would you do with it? Personally, I’d waste it on stupid crap, and tons of hookers and blow. While maybe I can’t go out to the store and pick up some of my choices, I’d do my damndest to make them realities.
