Friday Five – Best and Worst of 2012
Well, it seems we all didn’t die in the Mayan apocalypse, so let’s review the best and worst of the past year.
I will preface this by saying, yes, I know I am a terrible person. Just trying to have a little fun. I could be a even more terrible person and mention that during this year I payed off all my credit cards, my car loan, and one of my student loans.

Take it or Leave it – December 26, 2012
Well, seeing as this week is the week of Christmas, there’s not a whole lot of new stuff out this week. In fact, there’s pretty much just one book that comes out that’s of any importance (Amazing Spider-Man 700), so lets just get right to it. Oh yeah, there be spoilers ahead, so you know, read on with caution. . .
I hope you all got everything on your list you asked for. Now here’s my present to you. Stan Lee reading “Twas The Night Before Christmas”. Enjoy it after the jump!

Friday Five – Apocalypse Survival Team Members
I realize today is only Thursday, but I’m doing things a little differently this week, just in case we all end up raptured tomorrow. You know, what with the supposed Mayan Apocalypse happening. I’m pretty sure everything is going to be fine. After all, Marty traveled to 2015 in Back to the Future 2, so we have some time. But just in case, I prepared a list of people I’d want by my sides should I ever find myself at the End of Days.

Friday Five – Holiday Traditions
Everyone has a set of traditions for the holidays, even if it’s just getting drunk and hating your family while eating their shitty food and watching It’s a Wonderful Life.

Friday Five – Favorite Holiday Specials
There’s a reason TV has been showing the same Christmas specials for over 40 years. All the best ones are classics that pretty much define Christmas for many people. While many of my picks aren’t on TV every year, I always make an effort to watch them each christmas season.

Friday Five – Worst Endings
Endings tend to be difficult. Sometimes you don’t want your favorite things to end, but they invariably must. Hopefully when they do end, it’s in a satisfying fashion. But a lot of times ending tend to be abrupt and leave you feeling more upset than sated.

Take It Or Leave It – November 21, 2012
Finally, an early dismissal for the holiday means I actually have time to write one of these. Unfortunately, the holiday also means it’s a pretty light week. I only picked up three books (Star Trek Ongoing #15, Indestructible Hulk #1, and Captain America #1). I however have been enjoying the new Marvel NOW! far more than I ever expected to, even on characters whose books I’ve never read before.
